There Was a Young Bunny Who Swallowed an Egg.

There Was a Young Bunny Who Swallowed an Egg.

Everyone’s heard about the old lady who swallowed a fly, but now it’s time to meet a little bunny who, just as the Easter Egg Hunt is starting, swallows . . . an egg! And she doesn’t stop there! Soon she’s gobbled down a chick, a hot-cross bun, and a basket! What will she gobble down next?

A funny, cumulative rhyming story young children will love, packed with Easter chicks, eggs, buns, bees, and one very hungry little bunny – keep an eye on your chocolate eggs!

Reviews

Review: This was perfection, it was so funny, so interactive, the rhyming was incredible all the events that kept happening were so unexpected. This is such a perfect read with your young ones, they’ll pick up the rhyme in no time and will be saying it back with you, they’ll be laughing so so much too.

The whole of this story was so entertaining, I’d read the reindeer one by this author and illustrator team previously and loved that one so really wanted to read the Easter one, and it honestly didn’t disappoint at all. It was so entertaining from start to finish, it is so creative and so fun.

The things that poor bunny was swallowing were funny and really not things you’d expect her to be swallowing and then she was getting bigger and bigger and it just became even more bizarre and hilarious as it went on.

The illustrations were stunning on every page, from the bunny eating things, to the faces of the children especially poor Meg, and then all the eggs around and the surrounding settings, everything was so beautiful to look at. I also really enjoyed the interactive feature on the last pages how many eggs can you count, loved that as it’s so much fun and gets kids learning their numbers.
